It's taken decades, but I now own an A3000T. It's in decent condition but still requires a bit of work. I have to drive over three hours to get it, but look forward to the trip as I also will be picking up a few other items. Luckily I managed to acquire a mouse and keyboard for the 3000T a couple of months ago thinking some day I'd have the machine to go along with them.

Maybe it's time to do my first YouTube restoration video. There aren't any that feature the 3000T and Glen's (QuarkX) two are really the only actual videos showcasing this machine.

I cannot wait to get it home. :woot:

Nice.

One of the closest things to the element unobtainium is the DMAC-04 (paired with it's intended mate RAMSEY-07) - Some of the later A3000T's got them. Maybe yours? Pic for the Photo Gallery, please, if yours does. Bonus if yours was updated to BUSTER-11 (they are obtainable, desirable, and in some specific card cases, required, with Z3 expansion).

3hrs is about what I drove for my A4000T, and about the same for the TekMagic 68060 (Ultrasound).

Meeting the former owner is also a form of personal satisfaction.

You get the 3000T with broken front of eBay few days ago?

Can't say I did.

Nice.

It's been upgraded with Ramsey 11 and Buster 11. When I pick it up and get it all clean I'll post a photo or two. The seller is also giving me an A2000 PSU and a HDD. I just wish he had all that it came with when new.

Unfortunately this machine is going back to the seller. It was damaged in shipping and he failed to let me know of the very bad battery leakage and refuses to offer a partial refund. :censored:

Are you serious? Do you have pictures? How bad?

Yup. The case and frame are actually bent from shipping. The photo does not do it justice.

What a shame! :( I thought you were going to pick it up in person?

If I was you, I would keep it! Is not THAT bad....I've seen worse....actually I have one that IS worse! :(

Can still be repaired....To find a perfect A3000T MB today is quite an achievement!

Yours will need cleaning and some work.....but nothing that cannot be done....

It's already gone. I spent too much to keep it with the damage it had. On the bright side, I just picked up an A3000D that's in very nice condition.

Tomorrow I'll have my second A3000T. It's an A3000T-040 and is in much better condition than my last machine. I'll be posting some photos as soon as it's been cleaned up a little.
