I know a couple of us have Japanese consoles on the forum so hopefully someone can help.
I am trying to copy stuff between my FM Towns Marty 2 and my XP machine using a USB floppy drive that arrived today with some brand new disks.
Looking on this guide http://www.gamesx.com/wiki/doku.php?id=x68000:writing_3.5_floppies I have an FD-05PUB (see enclosed image) that supposedly supports 3Mode (720k, 1.25MB and 1.44MB) but I can't get it to format to 1.2MB using the dos commands nor the suggested trick. What does everyone else use or would I be better finding an old machine with an internal floppy and Omniflop? The only other thing I am thinking is let the FM Towns Marty format the disk if I can find the Japanese
