Hi,

I need some help to who to turn to for a fraud in the Netherlands.

I've bought some items via some webshop (I purchased there a few times over the years). Got something else delivered. After a few exchanged emails I got no response anymore. I then made the withdrawal and returned everything to their address. It's been two months now since my shipping. They don't reply to emails, don't answer phone and of course didn't return the money.

Anyone from the Netherlands who can give some recommendations where to go next?

I did report it here. But didn't heard back from them yet.

Cheers

Just so I know if I should be cautious too - is it an Amiga or retro related shop?

Contact your bank, credit card company and PayPal if you used them 5o pay for the goods. If necessary, Also contact the police as well and make an official complaint.

@arnljot: I see the webshop is down. But I still see ads in the Marktplaatz (might be old). It is/was mostly PC based retro shop.

@miggymad: to the local Police or in the Netherlands? I'm pretty clueless with this situation :(

I did contact my Bank. They can start the procedure for some fee but they can't say if anything could be solved this way. I paid via SEPA Bank transfer like every time at this webshop - there was no option for PayPal. I had good experiences with them before. So I have no idea what happened now.

@kixs

Go to your local police, make an official complaint and give them copies of all paperwork, emails etc to back it up

That's your first step, I see you have already gone to your bank so make sure you mention this too

If they give you a report / complaint / crime number then also give that to your bank as wel.

The more Information you give to both organisations the better.
