*Shipment to United States is resumed:

Now European courier shipment meets the requirements of Executive Order 14324, which requires the seller to declare the goods as commercial merchandise, collect import taxes, and submit them to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

But the shipment is obviously more expensive, but it includes all U.S. customs taxes and the additional cost of processing a shipment as commercial merchandise, as required by current U.S. law.*

Greetings,

This is a customized version of Fujinet for Apple II

Fujinet is a device that lets usage of a SD card
or internet via WiFi, in order to load games, save data
into the SD card or use BBS services among other;
in your vintage computer :)

It is designed following a small size approach,
as well its weight is under 50 grams. suitable
to be worldwide shipped also under the
most critical courier systems :)

#### What is it?

Fujinet is a series of devices that provide disk or hard disk emulation via SD card, and via WiFi connection.

Current shipped version is Rev. 01

Any disk image, such Total Replay is completely supported; loaded from Internet or via SD card.

It is also useful to use BBS, vintage internet chat systems, and other internet based services using a classical computer platform.

Currently Fujinet supports Atari 8 bits - Coleco Adam and Apple II computers.

This model is intended for Apple II, and it can be used natively in these Apple II models (Apple IIc requires a ROM version that supports SmartPort):

Apple IIGS
Apple IIc+
Apple IIc

For these other models, you need a SmartPort ROM card:

Apple IIe
Apple IIe Enhanced
Apple II Plus

SmartPort cards supported for IIe, IIe enhanced and Plus:

softSP
Apple Liron (AppleIII)
Grappler w/ SoftPort ROM
SuperSerial w/ DIY SmartPort (E)EPROM
Yellowstone

#### How to check Apple IIc SmartPort support?

At the command prompt write this:

PRINT PEEK(64447)

If the answer is 255, you need a ROM chip update, due to very first version doesn´t have SmartPort software driver

#### Current status

Fujinet for Apple II computers is in a continously development, current hardware version is 01 (current shipped units are revision 01)

Despite its "in development" nature, the provided features are well stablished, some hardware changes will be needed to support additional features.

As well, the development team is gently enough to maintain a firmware that supports previous hardware device generations. Also they explained to me how to compile the firmware, in order to maintain here a continously updated firmware for previous FujiApple harware version

The provided features for hardware revision 01:

  • Up to 4 floppy / hard disk emulation devices
  • Printer emulation (the output is stored as .pdf files in the SD card)
  • Clock function
  • Network functions, its possible to use a TNFS server in Real-Time
  • SD card storage method or WiFi, you can access files and use Internet services such BBS
  • CM/P support via Z80 emulation

Tested in both Apple IIc and Apple IIgs,
here some videos (executing Total Replay from the internet and SD card)
and some images:

Fujinet for Apple IIgs ia a multiple drive emulator at once

I proved this myself,

Fujinet for Apple IIgs is a multiple drive emulator at once,
you can boot GE OS from drive slot 1, while something different is loaded at another drive slots.

Some images of Drive A and Drive B at once using GE OS from 1988,
I suppose an old OS version, probably version 6.0.4 is much better

Price per unit is 52€ plus 13€ tracked shipment to Europe - UK;
10€ for Spain and 23€ for the rest of the world

for United States shipment takes 24€ but includes U.S. customs taxes and the additional
cost of processing a shipment as commercial merchandise, as required by U.S. law due
to executive order 14324

Hi.
I am potentially interested with the version of FujiApple but I have a few questions, please:

1) When running on an Apple IIc, does the emulated disk drive becomes the boot drive (instead of the build-in drive) or does-it override the boot-drive (which is no longer usable) or should a Pro-Dos disk to be present in the built-in drive ?

2) When running on an Apple IIgs, regarding the pictures it seems it is not possible to chain FujiApple with an actual (or emulated) disk drive.
In my case, my Apple IIgs is currently configured to work with the "Floppy Emu" from BMOW which It is used either as an hard drive ('woz' hard drive) or as a disk drive.
Do you confirm I'll loose the 'woz' hard drive/disk drive from my emulator if I connect FujiAppel to my Apple IIgs (unless I can transfer the woz file on the sd card) ?

1) In an Apple IIc you need to stop the boot drive pressign CONTROL + RESET, in order to start up the console.
And write PR#5 at prompt in order to start up the FujiApple menu application (that is recognized as an external drive).

Once you are in the Fujinet application, you can use any 2.4 GHz WiFi network or the SD card in order to select .PO or .DHV images; such the ToTal Replay .HDV image as an example.

After selecting your desired image to be executed, you press ESC and the machine restarts. Again, press CONTROL + RESET, type PR#5 and the selected image will be loaded.

In order to exchange the boot drive with external one, I think you need to change the internal jumper in the Apple IIc

- There is no need of present disk at the internal drive, for your information: the internal drive of the Apple IIc used in the video is not operative, its a damaged drive. However, it is not used anymore.

2) Due to the minimalistic design, there is no pass-through DB19 connector at the other side of this FujiApple version.
No more devices can be daisy chained to the DB19 port.

I suppose you are happy now!

FujiApple does the exact thing you asked to me,
are you ready to acquire one of these marvellous devices?

Edit: In words of user JihemB:

The capabilities of FujiApple to provide multiple hard drive / disk drives emulation at once is:

"This is a feature that makes the FujiNet Apple the most economical multiple floppy/hard drive emulator I know of."

Hi! If these are still available, I would be interested in one. Can you say what the total cost would be for one unit shipped to US ZIP Code 94501?

Thanks!
