Fully assembled GreaseWeazle v4

7 of 7 sold 9/29/2023

Also, I have a new case design with two screws, so if buying, please state if you want the old design (screwless). Just say you want the screwless design or the new one.

GreaseWeazle allows a Windows/Linux/Mac to read and write floppy disks from retro systems like Amiga/Commodore/Atari and many more. These can read most any 3.5in floppy disk into an image file onto the hard drive. Allows you to back up all floppy disks as image files and restore them as needed. Seamless integration into Amiga Emulator UAE is also possible and it can be used as an Amiga floppy drive inside WinUAE.

I have one of these (new with warranty) right now that I can sell; I need about 3~5 days processing. I'm asking 100 dollars fully assembled or 50 dollars for the Greaseweazle board only (plus shipping).
- For shipping, I need an address to get exact rates. OR you can just add 20 dollars for US and 30 dollars to Europe which will include insurance/tracking.

What's included (unless you request the GreaseWeazle board only):
:
- 3D printed screwless case (see pictures)
- Power LED
- stylish design
- Rubber feet

- Floppy Disk drive
- Standard HD floppy drive can read most any format 3.5in disk with the GreaseWeazle hardware and software (including amigados/amigados hd)

- GreaseWeazle Quickstart guide with links to software downloads.

- High-quality GreazeWeazle v4 (USB 2.0)
- Premium hardware components
- All Japanese capacitors and LD1117 voltage regulator
- Works with all GreaseWeazle software
- Quickstart guide to help locate and install Software, both commandline and GUI
- 3-year Warranty on GreaseWeazle board

- Brushed Metal sticker
- Your choice of retro brand Amiga, Atari, Commodore

What is NOT included:
- Software is not included, but can be easily downloaded. Links to this are provided in the QuickStart guide.
- USB type A to USB type B cable.
- ONLY 1 Brushed metal sticker is included... if you would like another, let me know.

Can you give some info about shipping costs to europe?!?
What kind of shipping did you want? The floppy drive is heavy, so if you add 30 US dollars, I'll ship it with insurance and tracking. I would need an address to get exact rates.

Thanks for the fast info. I ask because it's from outside EU, german border control will charge me another extra 19% import VAT [for the hardware itself combined with the shipping costs!] under normal cases. Only exception is some shipping methods where that already were managed with...

Well I think 30 dollars shipping is a good rate and I can do a declared value low. If you think there is a better rate you can ask and I can check on it.

Declaring interest.

Can you ship a fully built one to Australia?

Thanks man. Declaring low value is what is getting the german border watchers kinda addicted to observe more than usual. I delcare interest in the full package and we can discuss all the rest within PM.

I'll just declare it 100 dollars in value Is that good enough? That's the package price without shipping.... and it's worth at least that much.

For those who received or receiving theirs id recommend updating the firmware bootloader before doing anything serious.

What version of the bootloader did it have? FYI, there is no difference between v1.3 and v1.4 of the bootloader; bootloader should be v1.3 or greater. Bootloader v1.3 fixed a USB issue on Linux based computers, but Windows is fine with earlier versions. Boot loader v1.4 added support for a different board which does not apply to the V4 board.

As stated in the below document, it is not advisable to update the bootloader firmware.
