Hello Retrousers,

Im looking for one of these Garlic 68000 CPU switchers

here is a Link https://www.pcbway.com/project/share/Garlic_CPU_switcher_b76db560.html

Anyone got one spare ore making them?

Edit: Thanks @AmigaDigital for sorting this out for me and also looking further than my link for a new version of it 👍 👍 👍

Edit: @Vaderqrt if you have no soldering skills you may have to ask him if he can solder the 68K CPU in to but you may have to supply one to him

Just an update hopefully @AmigaDigital has sorted me 1 out, I'll let you know when it arrives, he may produce a batch of them if it works for me.

i have a few pcb's left , but i read on a1k.org that the 68000 cpu must soldeer right on the pcb , because the keyboard don't fit , but let me know when you get the package

I'll let you know when it arrives maybe using a right angle re-locator first will work with it

I reached out to Amigadigital if he could make one for me, so I believe he has just made one up for me, the switch and cable I will sort out after

When it arrives I will update here everything about it

@Vaderqrt this works like a charm, I soldered a Rugged old 68K CPU in, the 68K had a lots of bent pins so I was happy to straighten the pins the best I could and solder it

Jumper off = TF536 on
Jumper on = 68000 on

Obviously shutting down the Amiga before switching over CPU's

Just got to sort out a suitable switch and add a rom switcher to switch from Kickstart 1.3 for the 68000 and Kickstart 3.2.2 for the TF536.

I am using a right angle CPU relocator for the TF536 to ensure its as far away as possible from the Keyboard

I've added pictures I am using a CDTV version of the TF536 which will but it in a different position than a normal TF536 i just haven't got around to ungrading the firmware or the normal TF536 I have to a CDTV firmware to work with my A570

Fantastic news, I just need two of those for my projects

Nice adapter i didn't know of!

I am curious to see how it will prove reliable when there is some sandwiching with relocator, riser and turbo card. I got a lot of troubles before with too much parts stacked.
