The 68060 in my hand is an 'XC68060RC50'.
I'm not really sure what to do now. My primary reason for purchasing the accelerator card is to support the Picasso graphics and equally for the additional fast RAM. I'm not interested in squeezing every last possible Mhz out of the board. I prefer a good stable and usable system that I am actually intending to use for some development over the fastest thing money can buy
There have been a number of group buys for parts but apart from this CPU, all of my parts so far (including the memory) have come from the first group buy that Tuxbar did. So I'm guessing that means I also have the memory chips that are being discussed above as well.

Oh, PS: I paid too much for almost all of the parts I have bought to date that didn't come from a bulk buy. I'm not very good at hunting down the cheapest, but such is life. However, cheapest does not always = best option.
The original fast ram on the GB-A itself I bought 16 chips from China. A very cheap price. Then had a real bad time soldering them on, eventually having to admit defeat when I was getting memory errors. I sent it to Ordyne to look at as he has the kit to remove the RAM and is much more experience with SMT than I. After starting again he couldn't get it on there either. It turned out the RAM had arrived with crushed legs so there was nothing wrong with my soldering after all.
End result, this last week I had to purchase new RAM from a known good supplier in the UK (Farnell) that would deliver next day, and any issues it could be returned. It cost £90 total (approx £5 per chip). Very expensive, but within 24 hours the new RAM was fitted and the board working. Goes to show, you get what you pay for in this world
The GB-A1000 was demonstrated at the Amibay get together in Cheltenham yesterday and seemed to be very well received. Albeit I had to put my finger on the LSI CPLD to get it to boot so I clearly have a bad PLCC socket there and will be replacing that today if I get the time.
Sorry for going OT a little here! These boards can be very frustrating to get running, but then it does say that it requires a lot of skill and knowledge on George's site.
