That is really sweet! How did they get the two Zorro slots working I wonder? Or is one passthrough expansion that needs one of those gender changer boards?
This whole thing has me putting together an idea. While back (can't find it now) I saw a guy made an internal Zorro slot in a A500 by connecting the two slot plug ends with ribbon cables. This allowed him to have a card inside the A500 positioned safely but loose. I think it was a SCSI card in that case, but GBAPII++ would be even a better idea because it's so small.
I wonder if it would be possible to plug such an internal Zorro repositioning rig to the side port of the A500, with the expansion plastic side cover still on as if nothing is going on there...then put the GBAPII++ internally safely on top of something elevating it between the TF536 and floppy drive, plug the ECS Indivision flicker fixer output into pass through and have a flicker fixed-RTG capable Amiga in the A500 case with a single VGA output, all clean and magical. That would be really something! ...went on a bit of a tangent there, didn't I?
...to bring it back, here you'd probably have to use a L Zorro connector of some sort to keep the setup height low, right? Would that still clear a TF536? Does a TF536 fit on this thing? How about a flickerfixer?
Bottom line: Can you put a TF536 and flicker fixer and then L bracket a Zorro GBAPII++ above those on this thing for a low profile loaded setup? Or do you need all custom/special options to address these upgrades?
