Coming to you from the sandy land known as Australia!
Have heard a lot about Amibay and I'm excited to be here. Currently have an A500 (one day... ONE DAY I'll finally get an A1200!). It took a good beating and I had to replace the case and the floppy drive, though the floppy was switched to a GoTek. The keys on the left side appear to have failed and I suspect the membrane is at fault, so I'll be replacing that soon enough. I love to play my childhood games - favourites are Bubble Bobble and Lotus III (I think it's better than Lotus II, please don't shun me
) though I'm not really any good at them.
I've recently been bitten by the Amiga bug again and have been playing as much as I can in my spare time, and I've now even made my first ever home-made joystick. Wife isn't too sure what the fascination is about but I'm hoping to change that. My 5 year old seems to have taken a shine to Titus Fox on the A500 Mini that we have, so perhaps she'll be my protégé.
Nice to meet you all!
