This was my second print.

Very nice! I'm not familiar with the Dremel, what plastic did you use and how long did it take? Looks like a very fine print resolution (0.1mm), how did you go with supporting the horizontal parts?

edit: A quick web search shows Dremel sell their own PLA (though with no DRM cartridges or anything), 0.1mm layer height, and they provide their own software for Windows/Mac/Linux

So for that print I used the standard dremel PLA that came with the printer. I did a standard res print that took 9hrs to finish. There was a high res print that would have taken 20ish hours to finish. But I was kind of impatient. There was also a low res print that would have taken less time but I didnt think it would have turned out that great.

As far as supports go, It printed the Eyestalk, Plunger, and Laser were printed to the side of the Dalek vertically. So there were no supports.

I am looking to do some more prints soon. My daughter wants me to print out some My Little Pony figures.

Now for Sanding, painting and detailing.

Yes mjnurney, that is the one.

What'a the biggest piece you can print? I was thinking of trying to get an Amiga 4000 fascia printed (about 40cm wide) as the original ones are mostly going yellow now.
