Noob questions:

1. If I get one of these Gotek drives and the future an update is released, will I have to take my computer apart again to update it, or it can be done directly through the USB?

2. Does it physically fit inside a desktop Amiga (500 or 1200)?

if new firmware is made it will need removing and reflashing but i will do updates at no charge if people send them back to me and pay postage.

HM seems keen to make new firmware revisions so i expect new firmware will appear

What about selecting images that are out of order once in game? I know a few games that go from 1 to 2 then back to 1 again.

Looks like a nice bit of kit ill have to see what funds are like later in the month i think

Another noob question.
When it works with the current firmware why it needs to be replaced when the new firmware is made? :blased:

How long will you offer these? I definitely want one (or two) but maybe my friend(s) would be interested too, I'm gonna have a talk with them at the end of this month, not sooner.

I have interest, but I have some doubts:
This ready to run in 1200?
I have to load some fireware?
When I start the system from the hard drive, can load the adf images, or is it just at startup?

1.4a firmware now released

Two digit versions working as they should now.
