The modified GOTEK FDD still works apparently (need more tests) on AMIGA 500

Tested on this external FDD (by Analogic Computers):

You may need to change the FDD cable and the power cable, they will be too short.

The AMIGA CD32 doesn't have an internal/external FDD connector! To use a FDD, you need the Analogic Computers expansion board!
