For A500 and A500+ users I can also offer a boot-selector, that can allow booting from the external Gotek (or external floppy drive). This means no need to remove internal drive and still have option to boot from external drive. The adapter connects to CIA (B) slot. You just remove the CIA chip, place it in the adapter socket and put the adapter in place. With the switch you can select between internal or external drive is bootable. When external drive is bootable, internal drive becomes unavailable. Simply - you can have either DF0 (internal) + DF1 (external) or just DF0 (external).
Price for the switch is 19 €.

I do not have Lothareks HxC drive, so I am unable to test. But I have Gotek with HxC firmware and that works perfect.

Today I get some stock of BLACK round cables, so I can assemble those as Gotek external cables if there is interest. Call it CDTV edition as it may look nice with black gotek drives and CDTV or modded black Amiga setups. You can choose whether you want black or gray dsub connector case. I have gray cases in 23 size (can use screws) and black in 25 size (can not use screws). Connectors are always genuine 23pin for every cable.
