[FONT="]My first encounter with A500 didn’t last long; it was during the 1980s and the hype around Amiga was already fading; for instance, the Finnish ”C=lehti” (’C-magazine’) dealing with Commodore products was cancelled in 1992. Various pc computers like 486/25 were considered better at that time. The second encounter was around the year 2000 when I found an alone A500 left near garbage bins near my home. Happy with the precious finding, I tried it out and it worked like a charm, so I eventually decided to put the machine in our garage. The third time (for some reason things with A500 happen to me every 20 years!) was when I came across Gotek drives; the whole idea of having a USB port for a computer from the 1980s felt incredible! [FONT="]Now the A500 has returned on my desk. It is better than before, thanks to community effort.[/FONT]
