Hello everyone!


I'm excited to finally join the Amibay community! My name is Piotr, and I'm from Poland.


Like many of you, I've had a lifelong passion for Amiga computers. The Amiga 1200 was my dream machine back in the day, but circumstances never allowed me to own one when I was younger. Now, in my 40s, I finally have the opportunity to fulfill those childhood dreams and dive into the world of classic Amiga computing.


I've been working in IT for over 20 years, so I have a good technical background, but the Amiga platform still has its unique quirks and charm that I'm eager to explore and learn more about. I'm particularly interested in hardware configurations, upgrades, and getting the most out of these amazing machines.


I'm looking forward to learning from the experienced community here, sharing knowledge, and perhaps finding some great hardware to help build my dream setup. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions along the way!

It is really hard to only own 1 Amiga after you join the club.
There are soo many exciting things happening and being created these past 5'ish years.

Haha, you're absolutely right! The A1200 holds a very special place in my heart - I still remember staring at it through the shop window and sighing, dreaming of owning one someday. But that doesn't mean I've managed to stick to just one machine! I also have an A500, an A4000, and plenty of problems with it, so yeah... you guys definitely know what you're talking about!
