Hi folks. I'm new here. Though, I'm not new to the retro computing scene. Fortunately, the history of Texas is also a history of technology as some of history's noteworthy tech companies have called Texas home (not the least of which would be Dell, Cyrix, Texas Instruments, and others). So we've been fortunate enough to see (and now re-live and enjoy) a lot of the advancements in computing over the ages.

Glad to be here and hope to chat with you in the near future. Cheers!

Welcome aboard!

Do you have any particular favourites, as far as older systems go?

Not particularly. I still have a (almost completely original) IBM XT that still runs and plays all the old Sierra games. I'm mostly a PC fan, since those were my first. Once you have to maually resolve IRQ's and DMA's and hex addresses conflicts, it just kind of sticks with you.

I was thinking about getting into old Apple Mac's, but I haven't quite committed yet.
