It would be nice if we could share the code for these chips, as I and others are trying to collect a complete set of GAL chip code files, to help ourselves and others resurrect our cards.

I think the large issue is in many cases the code on these chips is not readable as it is protected and GVP never released the original code. I have heard there are some units out there without this chip protection. I have no idea which ones.

Exactly my point. Some cards have all chips protected, some cards have only some chips protected.
My thought was to build up a complete library from unprotected chips read from multiple cards.
I have two cards; one fully working and one with two chips fried. Once I get my reader sorted, I’ll see which chips are readable and make mine available.
My hope is some of the other A530 owners have the capability and motivation to do the same.
