Hello,
Does anyone can tell me how to configure a GVP T-Rex (Rev 4) in an A4000T ?
I tried different jumpers settings (int/ext etc...) and :

JP4: - STARTUP MODE... ON = Motherboard CPU present (ie A3000), OFF = No motherboard CPU present.

JP6: - 4040 BOARD ENABLE... ON = Disabled (use motherboard CPU), OFF = Use CPU on 4040 board.

etc... But no way i can't success to nothing...

Any help is welcome

Thank you

LP

Can someone help me a bit ? I tried a lot of different jumpers configuration and nothing happens..

Sorry, forgot about the jumper descriptions! I will pm you later...

Hi on my 4000D there is 2 jumper j100 internal and external to run the gvp TREX both jumpers should be internal or it will not boot

JR4: - RESERVED... Default = Off (no jumper fitted)
JR5: - RESERVED... Default = Off (no jumper fitted)
JR6: - RESERVED... Default = Pins 2 & 3 connected.
CN6: - FAN POWER, 5VDC power connector for CPU fan.
JR1=on
JR2=on
JR3=on

Just thank you !
It's finally works.
But it take a very long time to boot and needs a reset to boot properly.
A lot of freeze to so I put off the 'burst cache' jumpers (still 30 mips in sysinfo) and now it's OK.
Still need a hard reset to boot but now it's ok (perhaps a wrong 040.lib version...) i have to test...

:thumbsup:
nice to read! I hope you can fix the little lasting problem, too.
