Hi All,
Im Ashley. Been a long time user of Commodore and Amiga products. Started out on my dad's Vic20, then my own C64. Somehow managed to teach myself some basic and machine/assembly code on the 64 using a Torvalds book (skill long since lost!). The onto an Amiga 500, then 1200, now have my dads old 600.
Spent a fair bit of money recently to get a 1200 MB, still searching Ebay for a nice desktop case to try fit it in...and various bits from AMikit and Vesalia. Once the Caps kits arrive, Ill be changing them on both the 600 and 1200. So some work to be done with the incoming 1200....looking forward to the challenges
Like many, I loved my Commodores mostly for the games. Loved to death Omega Race on my dad's VIC 20, fond memories of using the Action Replay on the 64. I think Bards Tale III was probably my fav game on the 64....and on the Amiga hard to say, but many hours spent on Faery Tale on my mates Amiga 500 before I got one.
x86 PCs are useful, but just don't hold the same memories as the Commodore products. Lots of good ones from using Commodores, but few using PCs
Can't relive the past, but Im going to give it a good try!
