It's hard to love speccy from the US. This is the land of Commodore 64. But my love for this little beast is so strong that I decided that I will get one no matter the cost. I grew up with a Russian clone of spectrum. Unfortunately I'm unable to get the same model easily anymore. So I decided to get an original British model. I have a Sony PVM tv with a scart connection. All I need is to convert the electricity (i think). That's why I'm here. Wish me luck.

I'm interested in 128 and Gray +2. I believe they have RGB out which would make it easy to connect to my pvm. I don't mind later versions, but I read they are not as compatible.

Ok, I do have a +2 Grey going spare. The Grey is probably a sensible option for you as you can easily source an American Spec psu to deal with the 110V but if you were to go with the black +2a/b it might be harder to source so you more than likely need a step down convertor.
Anyway assuming we are going with the Grey I have an absolute beauty here which I will send you some images of a little later and if you want to pm me with your Town/City and zip/postal code then I will be able to work out a good shipping price so that you know exactly what the whole thing will cost.

I'm not sure if you can see properly on the pics but the datarecorder badge on the tape lid still has it's protective film on

On and I've found you a boxed Cheetah 125+ which is like new and has the SJS compatible connector so you'll be able to plug straight in without the need for an interface
