Hello. I am Ulrik. I'm a graphic designer from Denmark. I also do LEGO models and play a bit of music.

I swapped my C64 for an A500 with RAM expansion in the late 80's but ended up selling it again for a down payment on an appartment. Since then I only revisited the Amiga OS by way of Amiga Forever. I recently ordered a MiSTer FPGA computer to get back into the game :D but I would also at some point like to get an Amiga 1200 with sd card and have a bit of that.

Back in the day, besides games, I was particularly fond of Deluxe Paint and Soundtracker/Noisetracker. I also loved using my Amiga for wordprocessing but I forgot with one I used. I guess that's one thing to find out when I fire up the Minimig core (the MiSTer should arrive tomorrow).

Welcome fellow Scandinavian!

Yep! Amigas were expensive here too back then

But man, where they awesome. Still are. First computer sound that impressed me: Rob Hubbard's Commando music on the C64. First computer graphics that really reaaally impressed me: Defender of the Crown on the Amiga. Nothing these days impress the same as stuff did back then. I was even impressed with Skool Daze on the Speccy :-D:-D

Yeah, Defender of the Crown. That was impressive. And three intro music to Agony.

And both of the Monkey Island games.

Maybe we've become desensitised these days? But really, I was impressed with GTA V and Assassin's Creed...

I and was completely lost in The Settlers. And had a guilty pleasure in PP Hammer...
