Long time lurking so thouyght I'd best introduce myself.

bought my Amiga 500 in 89 but eventually sold it and move into PCs, but still played lots of amiga games on emulators over the years

roll on to a few years ago and I started picking up retro hardware, starting with a zx spectrum, an amstrad CPC 464, an amiga 500 and a few other systems.

Still finding my feeting on the systems, but looking forward to upodating these systems

Welcome to :check:AmiBay!

Retro computing... I'm telling you, it's a rabbit hole! :giggle:
I know right. first you have a wee rubber key spectrum you dig out the loft.. next thing you know your gertting an amstrad, then nostalgia kicks in heavy and you get an amiga 500 back...

and of course you need a gotek... oh and a few joysticks.

oh and about a couple dozen old osborne computing books.. and some z80 assembly books cause if your gonna dive into a rabbit hole its good to know how it works..

and is that a toshiba msx in the corner? where it come from... I'll just put it over here beside the spectrum next.. wait.. now if I put them thre were do i put this dragon 32 I somehow "aquired"

yeah... might have an issue now. ;)

And no need to mention that exploring again all this cool hardware from our youth is tons of fun!
It's heavy on the wallet but therapeutic for the soul :)

Hi Terlan,

Welcome.

Are you a member of/know about the Scottish Amiga User Group?

If not, we meet on an approximate two monthly basis, often at Cambuslang. Lots of knowledgeable and helpful members
