Hi, alamone here, I didn't have an Amiga when growing up but I was interested in the demoscene and got to know the Amiga by that.
I'm also into 80s-90s arcade and develop mods / rom hacks for them, which are on my website. https://alamone.net/
I currently have an Amiga 3000 that was a hand-me-down from an acquaintance. I refurbed / upgraded it with various parts:
- Quiet fan for the PSU (which still works!)
- Replaced the super loud HDD with an SD card and an extension to the back panel for easy access
- Coin cell battery (replacing the leaking one...)
- Gotek w/ OLED for DF1 (actual floppy drive for DF0)
- RGBtoHDMI using the video card slot
Works great, but missing AGA support, so I'm still looking for a A1200 or A4000. Hoping to score a good deal on the forums for one. Cheers.
