Hi all. Been an Amiga user since 1987, when my family bought our first computer, an A2000. We had one of the first Video Toaster boards manufactured (serial number 71) and eventually a Flyer as well. Around 1991, when Prevue Networks upgraded the Amigas that ran their channel guides, we bought a couple of A1000s and one became my own personal system. I still have both of those systems (minus the Flyer), and over the early 2000s I picked up a bunch of random systems for free or cheap - another A2000, an A3000 with the A3070 tape drive, another A1000, a few A500s, and even an A1200 that I passed on to a friend to repair.

My collection ballooned with other systems too in that time period, including about 100 Macs and a handful of 8bits. Then the whole thing went into storage for 10 years, and I've finally begun the process of bringing it all back home and weeding through it for what I really "need" to keep.

My current pride and joy is an A1000 w/ Rejuvinator, flickerfixer, AdIDE w/CF, and 3.1 ROMs, though it's hardly a daily driver. :)

Hello jupo.. I know this is an old post but thought I would message another Amiga user out there. I have a few myself and recently got into the 1000 after all these years? Do you still have yours? Anyway I thought I would reach out as your post was interesting and goes back to the beginning. Be safe
