Hey everyone,

Thought I'd quickly introduce myself. I'm getting back into the world of Amiga both hardware and software and I've recently been configuring an Amiga 500 to go on to bulletin boards via tcpser running on a rasperberry pi zero. It's been fun getting the pi zero to act as both a modem emulator as well as an FTP server where I'm able to mount my USB stick on my Amiga, see it as a folder in Workbench and transfer files back and forth.

I've recently gone through the battle of configuring ShapeShifter to run on an A1200. The painful part of that was intstalling System 7 with floppy disk images when ShapeShifter doesn't have any native ability to switch disks! I managed to get most the way there with that by using the brilliant diskImage.device driver which allows me to mount images into a virtual drive and have them recognised by ShapeShifter.

My next project is to start getting more in dept with assembler and start using the software I have spent hours configuring! Hopefully I can start making little demos and upload them on bulletin boards so I can start contributing to the community.

The latest thing that impressed me was being able to play S3M and XM modules on a A1200 with an 030. I didn't know that was possible and using the AHI drivers made it sounds pretty good!!

Outside of Amiga, I like dabbling with electronics such as bread board computers using Z80s and FPGAs (I'm still very new to that one and I'll take more lectures from Cornell University on Youtube for me to actually get anywhere with that).

Hope to chat soon,
Hypnoshock
