A friend recommended this place and I had to join! I’m looking to relive my younger years by building my dream PC from mid to late 1990’s, and it looks like this is the right place to go about it!
I got familiar with computers in late 80’s, tinkering on my dad’s IBM 286, and have been hooked since then.
I just started my 90’s PC build project, and I found an IBM 8518 13” VGA monitor (yeah it’s a bit older but I like it) and I even have my original Orchid Righteous 4Mb Voodoo graphics PCI card from 97 or 98 as the build’s first parts. I also hope to find a nice Baby-AT case to put the voodoo card in, or maybe for a second 486 DOS build.. Anyway, great to be here!
