Hello I am Romain, alias Captain Vlad Tepes, from France!

I am a great fan of retro gaming hardware. I have quite a few consoles from the 90ies or early 2000 (between me and my brother SNES, Megadrive, N64, Dreamcast, PS2, Gamecube...), a whole bunch of arcade systems and games (Neo-Geo MVS, CPS1 and 2, Naomi) and even two Japanese "candy" cabinets and a giant Sony Trinitron 4:3 tube TV.

While I am a maybe bit "young" to have known C64, ATARI ST or Amiga during their prime time, my nostalgia driving me more towards mid to late 90ies, I have always been interested by old school 8 bit and 16 bit micro computers, and older hardware in general.

At that time I had only access to a Macintosh (probably a Plus or a SE, when my father changed his computer we usually got the old one back so my first color computer was only a LC III when my father bought a Power Mac for his work) which was clearly not the best for gaming and I missed out a lot, but I played my fair bit of Shufflepuck Café and remember fondly helping my father installing software by swapping floppies around.

I have been tempted to buy an early 90ies computer for quite some time, and even considered going for an older DOS machine at one point, but I fell in love with wedge shaped micro and finaly bought myself an Amiga 1200.
