Hi
Introducing myself. My name is Tim, born in the late 70’s, grew up with c64’s and Amigas in the 80’s and 90’s.
My first amiga was towards the end of primary school i had an amiga 500. I remember it was an eary red light kickstart 1.2 . And eventually replaced with a newer green light 1.3.
Earliest game I have the earliest and fondest memory of with the 500 were f-18 interceptor which i loved playing alot..
I also used it for midi music later on with Dr T’s music software and wordsworth and deluxe paint for school work.
I remember even having a dot matrix printer connected to printing my creations out..
As i got older i eventually moved to an amiga 1200 and had that until the late 90’s before moving to pc..
I have gone back to commodore / amiga as a hobby since entering my 40’s and currenly own a c64 and a1200. Enjoying revisiting the games and fun of all the other apps and music mods and demos.
Current setup
A1200 rev 1b with aca1233 40mhz and fpu , 128mb ram
Indivision flicker fixer to attach to modern display
Gotek drive with adf flopp images access
Ks3.1 roms with workbench 3.1
Also found a rev2b a1200 recently and looking forward to getting it restored and perhaps doing something a little different with the case and expansion options.. maybe try a pistorm..
Anyhow looking forward to being part of this community.
Regards
Tim
