What system/set-up will you go for?
I have an A500 already on it's way to me from Germany (for nostalgic reasons and some old-school floppy based gaming).
My parents had also found an Amiga board in the basement, which might be either A500 or A500+ waiting for pictures.
I'm also considering getting a big box Amiga or an 1200 if I can get it in a cost effective way.
always nice to have extra motherboards and parts around 
Big boxes are awesome, but looks increasingly hard to come by, locally at least....but they do pop up now and then in various conditions.
I almost bought a perfect condition A2000 the other day...but...nah. My 600 can handle the OCS/ECS needs.
If you are just looking for any AGA option, then I guess the 1200 is the easiest and most available way to start out.
Towerizing the 1200 opens up for a lot of options if you want to expand later.
