Hi everybody, I'm Mike
I have had many old systems in the past .. Too many to list .. Oh ok then
Atari 2600 (Still have but needs repair - a recent acquisition), TRS 80 (Still have, working fine), ZX81 (Received from a neighbour in 1981 as he could not get his head around programming it!), ZX Spectrum, Tatung Einstein (I really regret giving this away as it had the Spectrum Emulator hardware), Atari 65XE with SDIO2SD, Acorn Electron, BBC Micro Model B (Still have, works fine, with SD card and Watford 12 rom card), Atari 520 STE (Still have, works fine, EXXOS TOS 1.622.06 ROM switcher with toggle switch, 4 MB upgrade, external HDD [1 x 40mb, 1 x 200 mb SCSI] - Waiting to fit a 3.5 SCSI ZIP drive, External WIFI Modem [RPi based], RPi based Midi sound module, VGAMono monitor switch [Still waiting for a decent multisync], Joystick and mouse ports moved to new case side location [This is my go to retro machine at the moment]), ZX Spectrum 128K +2 (Still have and working, with SD Card interface), ZX Spectrum 48K + (Still have, works great and fitted in DKtroniks keyboard with SD Card interface [1-bis]), C64 bread bin with SDIO2SD, Vic-20 (Boxed), Amiga A500, Amiga A500+ with additional ram expansion, Amiga A600 with additional ram expantion and intenal CF card reader.
I think that is about it, although I have hadstill have so much stuff I probably don't actually know what is still in storage!
Any machines that are not being actively used are stored in the garage on a shelving unit within sealed waterproof boxes with silica gel pouches in a dark location! - They are retrieved once in a while to make sure all is well, and to enjoy their retro goodness.
All my machines that have not been sold or traded, have video connection to a vintage ALBA LCD TV via SCART - Varying quality across all machines dependant on age.
I have come here to purchase retro hardwaresoftware and chew bubble gum, and I am all out of gum!!!
Hopefully I will find some retro treasures to buy
Cheerio
Mike.
