Hello Amibayers.
Just a quick message about myself, and why I'm here.
I've been an Amiga fan since spending much of my teenage years using an A500. Although over the past decade I've probably spent more time using Linux on PCs, and I've started collecting a lot of old unix-based servers - including a few with Motorola CPUs.
Earlier this year I dusted off an A1200, which I've been busy installing new software, network card, and a soldered an additional SIMM socket onto its 1230 clone.
This week I've also taken my old A500 and A500+ out of the loft. And I've found the A500+ to have a leaked battery. And for some reason, the A500 seems to be ignoring the floppy drive. So I need to decide what I'm doing with both of these.
My computer hardware also includes an A600, CD32, GVP A500HD+, Commodore 64, Atari Lynx, and various Sun, Fujitsu-Siemens, NeXT, Alpha, Vax and other servers.
CU Around.
Stephen.
