Hello from (not-so) Sunny Brighton!

Well, I just noticed this thread exists and thought it might be the done thing to introduce myself as I've already posted in a number of threads and find myself coming back a few times a day since I discovered this board...

What can I say... During the day, I'm an IT consultant, designing complex hosting solutions for medium/large enterprises. It's not as galmourous as it sounds.

In my free time, I can be found either playing one of my collection of guitars or basses or, more likely, playing some ancient video game. As you can see from my signature I have a fairly large collection of consoles, so as you can imagine, I have an even larger collection of games to go with them all.

I'm the sort of collector who'd rather have a yellowed machine and games without boxes and manuals because I actually want to use them and the less they cost, the more I can buy! That's not to say that my entire collection is junk, I do have a few lovely examples but I have far more loose carts/discs. Besides, it requries far less space to store them all boxless.

So that's me in a few paragraphs. If you want to know anything else, feel free to ask!

@ Astrofra = yes! there are hundreds of machines but they are all modern ones. Also a lot of gambling machines. But they do have some great games in there if you like modern stuff... House of the Dead 4, Guitar Hero 3, Daytona (not really modern but not quite retro yet either..) There's also a tiny little arcade in the arches just next door, they have a couple of pinball tables, Street Fighter II, Dinosaurs and Cadillacs... its a pretty sweet area if you're into games!
