I finally decided to join because I was sick of Google sending me here when I search for exotic hardware, and then I couldn't see the photos! :] Now that I'm registered, perhaps I can find specific items to buy, but it's not something that happens often. I try to salvage "junk" that people throw away, and try to get it in working condition, which sometimes requires a little investment. This means mostly 90s machines, sometimes 80s. I enjoy having different architectures in my collection and I'm happy to own SPARC, MIPS and PowerPC machines, DEC terminals, besides various x86 from 286 onwards and the occasional z80.
