Hello all, big Amiga fan here living in Scotland.
I was fortunate to have grown up using the amiga 1000, 2000, and 4000, thanks to my uncle. I owned an A1200 in my teens, which I also used for graphics. It had a blizzard accelerator (not sure which specific model - probably the IV with an 030) and 64MB ram. Used to do a lot of 3D graphics with Imagine, then moved to Lightwave.
Sadly in 99 I had to sell my 1200 to buy my first PC, as I was falling behind with graphics software and hardware (one of the most stupid things I ever did - but had no option)
After getting into the emulation scene for many years I started collecting old boxed Amiga games, and eventually bought hardware as well, as emulation was no longer doing it for me
Joining so I can take the A1200 I bought to a similar level to what I had in the 90s. Hopefully will manage to buy a terrible fire 030 (blizzards are hard to come by, quite pricey, and with all the complications that come with old age!)
