Midi listener from Sweden here. Just got me a sc-55. Looking into sb-55. Struggling soundfont user befor that, never really happy with the sound.

Also a grate fan of preservation of old technology, and availability.

I was using the Roland Sound Canvas VA software in DosBox but, it's lacking compared to the real hardware. I have since stopped using it and uninstalled. I am now getting by with the Gravis Ultra Sound driver 411, it sounds much closer to the real hardware.

There is a new solution in town. Nuked-SC55.

Said by many to be a perfect reaction of the sound from Roland SC-55 mk1 and mk2 (among others).




Nukeykt has also developed highly accurate cores for the mister-fpga.
