Just purchased a Amiga500 (and another one just in case) and trying to get back to wonderful world of Commodore Amiga..

I also have two A500, one as my main working rig and one spare. I just prefer the look of the A500 to all other Amiga models, i guess i'm just sentimental about it since i owned one 30 years ago...

Oh - well, same for me, though I'm kinda miss out on AGA (Because that's the one I really wanted 30 years ago - so I'm in the process of building myself one) and I will try to sell the two A500 I've got (actually one of them is already on Tradera) to just go with one retro computer.

yeah, i had the 1200, but i didn't have any software that supported AGA at the time, so i switched to PC.
I guess it's different now, and i will probably go that route also eventually

Yes. hopefully I'll get some money back to fund the new build. Already sourced a TF1260 and new motherboard. Think I found, case, kb and drive and other parts - so I can start building it from scratch
