Hi everyone,
My very first computer that I bought with my own money was an Amiga 500. I think that was around 1991. I later sold it to my brother… which unfortunately marked the beginning of its rather untimely end.
Recently I’ve found my way back into the Amiga world—initially through emulation. I started a fun project converting an old Robotron Cella S1001 typewriter into an Amiberry-based Amiga emulator (using a laptop keyboard and an HP EliteDesk inside). But then I came across an irresistible offer in the classifieds and ended up buying an Amiga 500.
I’m glad I did! It’s now running beautifully with a working floppy drive and an Amiga 500 CPLD board based on LinuxJedi’s designs, plus RGBtoHDMI output to a modern monitor that can handle 50 Hz.
I'm looking for various parts and expansions for my new/old Amiga.
