Hi everyone,
I’m Niels from the Netherlands, and I’ve recently started diving deeper into the world of retro PC hardware. My goal is to rebuild a few classic setups that cover the eras I loved (or missed out on the first time around). I am a father, teacher and gamer in no particular order.
At the moment I’m focusing on three main projects:
A 486DX system.(Nearly complete, could use an AWE64 ISA)(Tulip Vison Line DT50i with ET6000)
A Pentium III build(Should be pretty complete (900Mhz Coppermine, Geforce2 GTS)
An Athlon XP rig(Still needs some work, got a Barton 2800+ on a Soltek Nforce2 Ultra, 9800 Pro purchase is pending)
Eventually I want to fill in in between with a Pentium and Pentium II build.
Along the way, I’m on the lookout for some specific parts: mainly to get those newer builds up and running and perhaps some collectible masterpieces (Voodoo2 SLI comes to mind)
