Hi, I started out with an A500 in 1990 (remember the Screen Gems pack?) that my dad got from from Gordon Harwoods. Recently got an A1200 which I'm trying to upgrade. Hope to get some good bits and hopefully a bit of advice along the way.

Welcome. Soon you will have a room filled with Amigas. One of each model.......
I already do to some extent. Have my original A500 and HD8+ from 1990 (my Citizen printer seems to have gone missing over the years), and have acquired a 500+, other 500 and an A1200. Plus host of accelerators etc

Welcome, AmigaJimbo.
Nice (and obviously) growing collection.
I see you're in Yorkshire. Do you know there's quite an active Yorkshire Amiga Group with meetings held in Sheffield, Leeds and ... cough, cough... even over the border in Lancashire.
Or, if you are further north than most, there is a fledgling North-East Amiga Group

Thanks OldAmigan, yes I've seen the ones in Leeds through Facebook but not been to one yet. Usually when there is a meet in Leeds I usually have plans with the family. I want to get to some and meet some fellow Amigans.

I dug my original A500 out of my loft about 10 years ago, but done very little with it until lately beside play games. Now I can't remember anything on how these work, when once I was writing little programmes to make demo disks and make most things work,
