Obligatory welcome post from me. Not a long time lurker, as it happens: just stumbled across this forum and it'll probably result in a lightening of my wallet.
First rig was a socket 7 Compaq Deskpro in the late 90s, when I was young. It could play HL in software at low resolution, and I loved it. Amazing how low your standards are as a kid... Still play through HL fairly regularly
