I've been a fan of the Amiga ever since I was exposed to computers. My father purchased an IBM PC when first introduced and I ended up with a PCjr. The PCjr led to programming which helped point me to a career in software development.
I loved trips to the computer store (remember those?) where I could see the latest and greatest.. More often than not, those were Amigas. There were Macs there but the Amigas were doing the most amazing things.
So far, I have had three A500s but I'm down to one with a nice display, mouse and external floppy drive. While I'm a complete newbie, I do know I'll be looking for a HDD solution soon (maybe an A1200?).
Thanks for keeping the Amiga interests alive!
