Hello. I’m Daniel and I live in Hertfordshire, England. I’ve recently bought an Amiga 1200 and am trying to get my setup back to something like I had in 1997 before I sold my first 1200 and got a PC. I’m fairly new to all this retro stuff but I loved my computers in the 80s and 90s. Still do - I have a MacBook now - but it’s not the same as being able to ‘tinker under the hood’! My first Amiga was a 600 but my first 16-bit machine was an Atari 520STFM. I loved that computer and was sad to see it go. Amiga’s are great but Ataris are too!

My first 16 bit computer is an AtariSTE which I still have to this day, but when my older brother came to visit with his A600 back in the day I was on the hunt for an Amiga which I found in a carboot sale where alot of my computer collection originally came from oh and from here

I still have a love for some games on the Atari ST though, I found the soundtrack for Escape From The Planet Of Robot Monsters more fun than the Amiga Version

I also loved this shareware game called plop, could play that for hours

PSSST! My first 16bit computer was an Atari STFM bundled with Defender of the Crown. What an amazing game that was and still is

I still carry fond memories from those days
