Hello everyone,

I've long been interested in computers ever since I got my first commodore 128 computer back in the 80's. More recently I have taken an interest in breathing new life into my very first 386 computer from the early 90's, which has been sitting in my parents basement for the last 25+ years. I still remember playing all the Sierra and Lucasfilm games from the the 90's, and decided it would be fun to once again play them on original hardware.

Welcome! Where are you in Michigan? I was born in Grand Rapids. Michigan seems to have quite a lot of retro computer equipment so you should be able to get lots of neat items there.

I was born and grew up in Ann Arbor. My current job is also located there as well.

I always enjoyed Ann Arbor when I would go there.

There's not a large contingent of retro PC users here but there are a decent amount. You might also check out vcfed.org and vogons.org for retro PC discussions. For your C128, you should check out Lemon64.com.

Last year I discovered the joys of the Roland MT-32 MIDI devices that can be used with lots of older games on many systems. The sound is amazing. You might look into it if you haven't already.
