Help Identifying Commodore 64?

Is this an Aldi C64 ?? Images below

i think it can not be Aldi.. Aldi models are labeled as C64 G..
the label say's Made in USA, so i can bet it is a NTSC model..
i can not tell more, i am not familiar with models produced in the United States, try to look inside, does this model have a long or short board? I think it has a short one..

But it does have a white keyboard (grey) and not black. Will photograph inside tomorrow.

An Aldi has a much lighter color, at least the Aldi model I have.

This is a late US model C64, manufactured during the period that the switch-over to the C64C was happening in the factory. Hence the white keys (and feet).

It will be NTSC.

well..i haven't seen a C64 with black keys..NEVER..Dark brown - yes, but black!? Are You sure?
Please do not rely on the color of the keyboard..Commodore is well known company who used all parts, they had on the moment..

Yes, it is not fake!!(someone had a bad day, and mounted the colours in wrong order, the rainbow on the badges looks totally wrong, but in doesen't stopped Commodore to use them making those models rare

So, as You see, nothing was thrown away, just a little bit of patchcables, aaaand voila...sold!
So come on.. Don't wonder if You see a breadbin with white keys...

I think it is something as simple as someone took a C64C keyboard and feet and put it on a breadbox model. Since all of the keyboards are interchangeable this is most likely the case.

Since it is not sealed any longer, it could well be a someone's frankenstein machine, i.e. built using parts from different C64s.
AFAIK, ALDI models are all made in USA though (but are PAL machines).

The C64 Aldi model has the typical grey breadbin case and color, a light grey C64 keyboard, a red led, made in USA and only sold in Germany (PAL).

I see many people referring the C64 G as being the Aldi model... but this is not correct afaik...

indeed, i was sure Aldi models are white cased with green LED what seems to be wrong..

I normally see people refer to the C64G as the C64 Game system. Guess it could be Germany - or just alphabetical as I know there is a C64C and a C64E. Don't know about C64F but perhaps that revision was unreleased.

The real C64 GS (Game System) came before the C64 G, so I don't think the G stood for Game System anymore... or maybe it did because they re-used C64 GS parts in the C64 G Might also be alphabetical as you mention. For some weird reason I always thought it stood for Germany.
