I'm kinda new to Amigas, but have been around computers for over 30 years. I got my first home computer in 1991, a Packard Bell 386. Around the same time, a friend of mine bought an Amiga 500. He played Pirates from a floppy disk on it. The sound quality was memorable and unusually good. In my inexperienced mind though, it was like a cool game console. I didn't really understand what else it could really do. Now, years later I yearn for an Amiga 1200. I want to learn all I can about these. I'm glad there has been a revival.
If they restart the new 1200 case manufacturing, I hope to snag one and have a blue 1200. Maybe even a new series 1200 Motherboard. Anyway, exiting times!!
