Hi there,

Just a little about myself. I live in the Netherlands, I'm 40 years old (times flies), and recently purchased a 500 and a 1200, the machines I used to own in the past.

When I was a kid I owned a c64 back which I bought because the boy nextdoor had one, and I was always there to play games on it.
Later I got some gaming magazines and was amazed by the quality of the Amiga graphics and instantly fell in love with it. I just didn't have the money the own one (yet). After some saving I was finally able to buy a second hand Amiga 500, and I loved it. Unfortunately after some years I needed money and sold it, stupid me! Not long after the 1200 was released and I bought a new one, and had that for a long time, until I got a real girlfriend and needed even more money

Anyway, I made it up and will take good care of these 2 machines. Time to look for some nice upgrades on Amibay!

Hello mate welcome, your story sounds all too familiar. I'm in exactly the same position aside from I had an Amstrad CPC 6128 as a kid my little brother had the c64 we both ended up with Amiga's, me a 500+ him a 600 and by the time we were adults had sold everything. I am also slowly
building my previous collection back up, best of luck with finding some upgrades
