I am new here and wanted to say hi to the community !

I had my first amiga in the late 80s back in Europe, a good old Amiga 2000 (which I still own and its battery has not leaked :)

Hope to find some good people here and nice to be part of an Amiga Community again !!

Miru:D

Hi mate, yeah, I'm pretty new around here too. I had a atari 2600 to start off with in the early 80s then went from zx81 to spectrum 48k (rubber keys!) to c64 (breadbin!) to amiga a500 to a1200 then ended up converting that to a a1200t back in the 90s which was my 1st computer to get online!

Anyway, welcome to the board! =)

Thanks for the warm welcome! :D

My first Amiga was an A2000 which I eventually upgraded with a flicker fixer, a2630, a2091 with a 500 (or) mb hd and some extra memory and a scsi cdrom.... what a feeling it was to boot my workbench in 10 secs. everything ready, no hidden background tasks.... the computer did what u wanted it do.

Any Oregonians or Washingtonians here?

Enjoy the weekend!

Welcome! I live in Olympia WA so I am not far from you. What part of Oregon? I know there is a Portland Commodore club. Have you checked it out?

From everything I have read if the battery is still in your 2000 you should remove it as soon as possible. Just a friendly reminder.

Yes I have been there a few times :)

I am in Portland itself, so about 3 h from Olympia ?

The Amiga is in Europe, but the next time I go there thats going to be the first thing I will do, promised !

let me know when you are in the region or planning to go the next PDX Commodore meeting !
:)

I do want to make it to a PDX meeting. I will let you know if I make the next one. I want to visit Portland also.

All right ! Looking forward to it :D

Send me a PM when you are heading here !
