Hi everyone,
When I was younger I had an amiga 500 with an A590 (with a massive 20mb drive) then upgraded to an A2000HD with a 50mb drive and finally an A4000 with a 2.3gb drive.
Unfortunately both the a500 and a4000 suffered unrepairable damage and were scraped in the mid 90's.
I recently uncovered my a2000 but the battery has leaked all over the board and caused extensive damage. I have purchased a replacement board and will begin transplanting all the main chips to the new board and other components with modern replacements.
I've also just purchased a CD32 which I hope to do my retro-gaming on.
Cheers,
Carlo.
