Im a Long time commodore user.
Had a c64 from 86 up until I got my first Amiga which was the Amiga 600.
I had a good friend who had an a500 and used his heaps insead of buying one. He used to loan it to me overnight too. When I got my first job, I saved and prepurchased the a600 before it was released so I would get it as soon as the first stock arrived. I loved it. It was my first machine that I bought (parents bought the c64 and it was the family's machine). Of course as soon as I heard the a1200 was to be released I bought it and upgraded from my a600. I had my a1200 until first year at uni when I sold it (and regretted it straight away).
Last year I bought some Amiga gear again now I have:
A1200 KS3.0 with indivision AGA MK2, ACA1231, 16GB CF, wired PCMCIA network, Lyra 2, Micromys v4
A600 KS 3.1 with aca630, a604 and indivision ECS,16GB CF
A600 with a604 and hxcfloppy.
Spare motherboards for all of them (but require recapping). I also have a 4mb fastmem elbox card for the spare a1200 board with rtc.
I'm very happy with my collection, however I will add a cd32 to it at some point.
Forgot to add.. The whole time I didn't have a real Amiga.. Winuae was always always installed on my pc!
