Hi, hope everyone is good.
After clearing out my loft I have re-awakened my interest in home computing. Very much a Commodore guy back in the day, they were packed up around 30+ years ago. So far the main units have survived very well apart from my Amiga A500+ which was ravaged by the dreaded barrel battery. I managed to buy a Raemixx500 board which I built up using new components and transplanting the custom IC's over. PCB final test was my job many moons ago so was up for some rework. After replacing 3 DRAM's, it pretty much worked first time.
The Amiga setup consists of the 500+ and A590 connected to a modern day 15kHZ compatible LCD monitor. Other Commodore kit - VIC-20, C128, various drives most of which have not been re-powered yet!
All the best,
James
